I recently served four years as the 2nd Counselor in the Stake Young Women Presidency and the two years prior to that as the Ward Camp Director. In those six years I grew to love the young women and was so impressed with how knowledgeable they are in the gospel. I felt young and invigorated as I served them and was a bit sad when my time ended. I made wonderful friendships with those I served AND those I served with that will last a lifetime. I am just starting to feel old as I watch these young women graduate from high school and move on with life. I don't know how they are old enough to be getting married when I have not aged a day!
I will be including the activities I helped with which include skits, flag ceremonies, spiritual programs, lessons, crafts, games, activities, and anything else I happen to dig up as I go through my files. I spent alot of time and put alot of thought on the things I wanted to share with them, hoping they would remember more of what I taught them than I did at their age.
I am so excited to finally have a way to share what I emptied out of my head and hopefully a few more lives will be touched.
